2007 PHS ALUMNI REUNION

 

A highlight of the meeting was the attendance of these directors, each of whom shared highlights of their tenure at PHS with the alumni.

Band Directors

Band of Gold

The Association enjoyed greeting the first drum major for the Band of Gold, Virginia Lemond Harpole (second from left). She led the band from 1935-36. Gathered around her here, L-R, are Cherie Williams Litton (1969), Muzette Mathis Cooper (1962) and Dr. Christy Hicks (1973).  Muzette was the program committee chairman, assisted by Penni Wade Williams (not available for this picture)..
